Cox, a seasoned leader in global water and energy infrastructure, has partnered with Dubai-based AMEA Power to establish Water Alliance Ventures, a joint venture targeting the development, execution, and operation of integrated water and energy projects across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia .
Cox’s Strong Track Record
With over 55 years of expertise, Cox operates five water concessions capable of processing 945,000 m³/day, alongside six energy generation and two transmission-line projects. The company’s achievements include delivering more than 8.3 million m³/day in desalination and treatment capacity and earning over 250 client certifications and 20 international industry awards . AMEA Power contributes a robust renewables portfolio with over 2,600 MW currently operating or under construction and a project pipeline exceeding 6 GW, including major installations like Egypt’s 500 MW Amunet wind farm and the 500 MW Abydos solar and battery facility .
